Day 19: Walk away

Doctors are busy, interruptible, distracted people. This weekend, go against your body rhythm. Spend 15 minutes (or longer) by yourself with no phones, internet, TV or radio. Leave the phone at home and go for a walk around the neighbourhood. Take a short train ride. Drive and park in a corner somewhere. In the silence, let your mind wander and wonder. What would you say to yourself? What would you hear? Get some peace and quiet. See how refreshing a little solitude would be. Perhaps in the quietness of your mind you might find a critical solution to some of your personal or professional clinical problems. Good luck.
